Olivia

I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia 8 months (37 weeks) into my first pregnancy, but I had symptoms from 3 months (14 weeks). I went into labour and vaginally delivered my baby. The birth was traumatic as I wasn't given the pain relief I had asked for.

    I developed pre-eclampsia 6 months (28/29 weeks) into my first pregnancy. I was induced at 7 months (32 weeks) and vaginally delivered my baby. My son, Beau, stayed in SCBU (Special Care Baby Unit) and he was discharged after three weeks.

    I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia 5 months (25 weeks) into my second pregnancy. I was kept in hospital and, whilst there, ended up in Intensive Care three times. My baby, Imogen, was born by emergency c-section. She stayed in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and spent three months in hospital.

My baby was vaginally delivered with suction help from the doctors using a special cup placed on his head. My baby spent a week in SCBU (Special Care Baby Unit).
