Suman Prinjha

Suman Prinjha is an anthropologist and completed her PhD in 1999 at the London School of Economics. She has been a Senior Researcher for Healthtalk since 2001 and was the lead researcher on the study. She conducted most of the partial knee replacement interviews, analysed the knee and shoulder interviews, and wrote the topic summaries.

Maria Salinas

Maria Salinas is an anthropologist and obtained her D.Phil from the University of Oxford in 2000. She has worked in health research, refugee studies and gender relations in the academic and voluntary sectors. She conducted most of the shoulder interviews.
