    Dianne was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia after experiencing fatigue with an odd sense of a weight in her stomach. Four cycles of chemotherapy put her into remission. She was also given a monoclonal antibody called Mylotarg (gemtuzumab).

    Kerry was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia after finding a mass in her chest, losing weight and feeling breathless. Treatment included intensive chemotherapy, radiotherapy to her brain, and oral chemotherapy. She is in remission.

    Chanelle was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia after a blood vessel burst in her eye. She was treated with monoclonal antibodies interferon then Glivec. She is in remission but is considering stopping the Glivec in order to become pregnant.
