Alexandra

Alexandra developed acne on her back when she was 13. She went to see a GP at 16 but when conventional treatment did not work, she sought help at a specialist dermatology clinic in her home country of the Netherlands.

    Emma was 10 when she first started getting acne on her face and chest. She tried topical creams and antibiotics before taking two courses of Roaccutane (isotretinoin). Her acne and subsequent scarring have made her feel very self-conscious in the past.

    Harriet had acne from around the age of 12 to 18. She tried a number of topical creams prescribed by her GP before being referred to a dermatologist. Roaccutane (isotretinoin) cleared her acne though she finds that her skin is now more sensitive.
