Invited to be screened for bowel cancer three times, between 2000 and 2005. The result of the Faecal Occult Blood (FOB) test has been normal each time.

She was invited to be screened for bowel cancer in 2000, when aged 50, as part of the pilot study. The result of the Faecal Occult Blood (FOB) test was normal. She was invited to be screened again in 2003 and 2005. Once again the results of the tests were normal.

Wondered why she had been ‘selected for screening.
