Sometimes a decision is taken that a patient should be for ‘No aggressive treatment of infections’, ‘Do Not Attempt Resuscitation’ this can be quite a vague statement. Precisely what this means in practice will depend on the particular patient and the type of infection, and how people respond at the time.
