    Carrie, 17 is a full-time student and lives with her mother and brother. Her family moved to the UK from Africa three years ago. In the UK she started to put on weight due to changes in diet and less opportunity to do exercise on a regular basis but also because of the experience of starting life in a new country.     Jezzie, 16, developed anorexia when she started secondary school. She has been in recovery, but has recently started restricting her food again. She has also been having panic attacks and feelings of depression.

    Becca works part-time as a retail assistant. In the past few months she has joined WeightWatchers and has lost one stone. Her main motivation to lose weight is her health. She is concerned about weight related conditions such as diabetes and heart problems. Ethnic background: White British.
