In 1998 diagnosed with a rare form of soft tissue cancer called Peripheral Neuroectodermal Tumour found in her spine. She has five cycles of chemotherapy followed by thirty sessions of radiotherapy. Tumour dormant.

    In October 2000 she was diagnosed with a Ewing's sarcoma and had an operation to remove her shoulder blade, followed by physiotherapy. Chemotherapy before and after surgery. In remission.

    Diagnosed in 2000 with Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumours (MPNST), in the neck. Treatment: radiotherapy. The MPNST reappeared in his chest. Treatment: chemotherapy, surgery, chemotherapy. In remission since 2002.

    Diagnosed in 2002 with a brain tumour; medulloblastoma. Treatment' surgery to remove the tumour; six weeks of radiotherapy and eight months of chemotherapy. In remission.

    Diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2004. He gave up his chemotherapy treatment but went back to it after realising that there is no other treatment available. Current treatment: chemotherapy.

    Diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma grade 2B in 2002. His treatment consisted of six months of fortnightly sessions of chemotherapy, followed by five weeks of radiotherapy. In remission since 2001.
