Two of Susanne's children caught Covid in March 2020, and then the whole family caught Covid about a year later. Susanne didn't find the advice from the NHS very helpful, and spoke to an acupuncturist when she had Covid, who recommended a heavy dose of vitamin C via elderberry drinks.

Matt thinks he was infected with Covid after attending a football match. While he was sick, he felt very fatigued and didn't want to do anything other than curl up into a bal. Matt fully recovered from Covid after ten days.

Paul suspected he had Covid after he lost his appetite and developed flu-like symptoms. A test confirmed that he had Covid, though he considered his case mild. Paul said that his mental health was generally quite good during the pandemic.

She is retired from working as a senior support worker for people with learning disabilities, and lives with her daughter. Doreen learnt about the pandemic much later than anybody else. She was in hospital at the beginning of the pandemic, after a car accident, and when she came out the UK was in lockdown.

Aytana works in education. She lives with her parents and older brother. Aytana was put on furlough during the pandemic. She took care of her parents when they caught Covid and was later infected herself. Aytana was able to recover well and has since been involved in helping with Covid testing.

Mudasar thinks he caught Covid from a customer while working as a taxi driver. Within a few hours, he felt tired and had aches and pains. Mudasar had difficulty breathing, which he found was helped by inhaling steam.

Pooja isolated in her bedroom when she had Covid in March 2020. This was a tough time for her because she had limited social contact and missed her son's birthday party.
