Courtney - Interview 18

    Natasha recently graduated from university and does voluntary work for a charity organization. She decided to have the contraceptive implant but after two months started to experience heavy, irregular bleeding. She had it removed and now she uses the contraceptive pill. Natasha thinks that doctors should do more to warn about the ways in which an implant can messed up the menstrual cycle.

    For the last two years, Victoria's method of contraception has been the implant. She is very happy with the implant and hasn't experienced any side effects such as putting on weight or irregular periods. She thinks it is important to make an informed choice when it comes to contraception.

  • Interview 53 - Fiona

    Fiona was diagnosed with Chlamydia but all her other STI's test results were negative. She saw the clinic's health adviser who explained about the treatment and provided information and advice. The treatment for Chlamydia consisted of four tablets of Azithromycin 250mg. and she was advised to abstain from sexual intercourse for the next seven days.

  • Interview 52 - Chloe

    Chloe's Chlamydia test was prompted by a phone call by her ex-boyfriend telling her that he was being treated for Chlamydia and that she and her new boyfriend should go to get tested. But Chloe had the Chlamydia test and requested treatment before she got the test result. She and her boyfriend used a Chlamydia testing kit to have a second test, which came back negative for both of them.
