Eileen - Interview 24- DCIS

Eileen was diagnosed with DCIS in 2002 and had a mastectomy. Afterwards, she questioned the value of breast screening and chooses not to have routine mammograms.

    Hodgkins Disease diagnosed in 2004 after finding a lump in her neck. Eight cycles of ABVD chemotherapy put her into remission.

    Diagnosed with breast cancer 1998, Ductal Carcinoma in-situ. Underwent a lumpectomy and Radiotherapy. In 2000 found 2 malignant lumps and had a mastectomy, radiotherapy and Tamoxifen. In 2001 chemotherapy was given.

    Ovarian cancer diagnosed in 2002 following abdominal ache. Treated by surgical removal of ovaries and womb followed by chemotherapy.

    Ovarian cancer diagnosed in 2000 following abdominal pain and bloating, painful sex and bleeding afterwards. Treated by surgical removal of tumour, chemotherapy, then removal of ovaries and womb and more chemotherapy. Further surgery to repair a hernia.
