Elsie

Elsie experienced pain for several years before being diagnosed with fibromyalgia by her rheumatologist. She and her friends started a support group after feeling that there was nothing much being don to support people with fibromyalgia in their area.

    Helen developed pain about 20 years ago. She was diagnosed with fibromyalgia after reading about it and prompting her GP. Helen loves being outdoors and close to nature. She tries to enjoy life and stay active with gardening and walking.

    Morag developed pains in her body and other symptoms about four or five years ago. She was diagnosed with fibromyalgia by her supportive GP later on. She tries to stay active with walking her dog, cycling with an electric bike and other exercises.
