Mental health: People from minority ethnic backgrounds
In this section you can find out about the mental health experiences of people from minority ethnic backgrounds in the UK (Black, Asian and other minority ethnicities) by seeing and hearing people share their personal stories on film.
Our researchers travelled all around the UK to talk to 30 people in their own homes. Find out what people said about issues such as diagnosis, therapy and support from family and friends.
We hope you find the information helpful and reassuring.
There are interviews in English as well as Bengali (Reena), Cantonese (Sarah, H.Y. Leung) and Punjabi (Raj).
