    Cheryl was born with transposition of the great vessels. In 1995, she had a heart and lung transplant, aged 36. She had severe depression a year later, but has been well and enjoying life since then.

    Linda's husband, John, sadly died of two brain haemorrhages in 2007, aged 50. Linda advised people to talk about organ donation with their families as these decisions are very difficult to make under stress when someone suddenly becomes critically ill.

    Andrea's brother, Paul, sadly died in 2009 of a rare condition called Wolfram Syndrome, aged 50. She and her father are proud of Paul and 'the gift of life' he gave to two people.
