Kath is a New Zealander with 30 years experience in breastfeeding support. Her PhD was on NZ women’s experiences of infant feeding. She is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Health and Community Studies, Bournemouth University and a pharmacist.
Jo was the project instigator and has been on the Advisory Panel for three DIPEx modules. A midwife for over 30 years, she is Professor of Midwifery, Maternal and Perinatal Research in the Institute of Health and Community Studies, Bournemouth University.
Maria Salinas is a social anthropologist. She has worked in health research, refugee studies and gender relations in the academic and voluntary sectors for the last fifteen years. She obtained her D.Phil from the University of Oxford in 2000. In 2014 Maria conducted, analysed and added 7 new interviews and updated the site as part of the ongoing updating programme (2015).
