Have you taken part in a cohort study?

A cohort study is a type of research where a group of people – who experiences a common event such as being born in the same year or living in the same city or region – are studied at several points over a period of time. The researchers are usually interested in something the group of people have in common such as a risk of getting a particular illness or exposure to something that could cause that illness, for example the effect of of air pollution on children’s health or smoking on lung cancer.

Our colleagues at the University of Oxford are looking for people who have taken part in this kind of research, to take part in an interview about their experiences. The interviews will be part of a resource on this website. Find out more.
