Arthritis Research UK
funds research into the cause, treatment and cure of all forms of arthritis in the UK. They educate health care professionals and provide information to people with arthritis and their carers. Arthritis Research UK funded this project.
The UK’s largest charity working with and for all people who have arthritis. They are user-led charity which means people with arthritis are members of the charity and are involved in all its activities.
Children's Chronic Arthritis Association (CCAA)
Gives practical help and support through its network and area family contacts. It provides various educational and recreational opportunities for children with JIA. The CCAA is a user-led organisation which means children with arthritis area at the heart of its work.
JIA – Juvenile Idiopathic arthritis at NRAS
The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society have set up a separate website for young people with JIA.
The National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society (NASS)
A charity dedicated to the needs of people affected by ankylosing spondylitis (AS) in the UK, offering information and local support.
The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society
Provides information and support for people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), their families, friends and carers, and health professionals with an interest in RA.
The Psoriasis Association
Helps people whose lives are affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis through research, information and raising awareness.
Scottish Network for Arthritis in Children
The object of the charity is to provide a national support network for children with arthritis and their families through the provision of factual, practical and emotional support.
