Young Adults’ Experiences of Depression in the U.S.
Advisory Panel Members
Dr. Erika Cottrell is assistant professor and investigator at Oregon Health and Sciences University Department of Family Medicine and founding member of the United States’ Database of Individual Patient Experience (DIPEx) Initiative.
Ms. Liz Obert is Associate Professor of Art at Linfield College, and a practicing artist whose work focuses on images of people living with mental illness.
Dr. David Rakel is a family physician and faculty with the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. He is director and founder of the University of Wisconsin Integrative Medicine program.
Dr. Andrew Moore is a psychiatrist and faculty with the University of Wisconsin Psychiatry Department. He regularly integrates mindfulness into psychotherapy as part of his clinical practice.
Dr. Shanda Wells is a Behavioral Health Psychologist with the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation and on the Board of the Wisconsin Psychological Association. Her areas of specialization include behavioral problems, trauma, health psychology and behavioral health consultation.
Myra, Colin and Crystal are young adults who both participated in and gave indispensable ongoing advice on the project.
