Aims to improve the quality of life for people in Scotland affected by chest, heart & stroke illness through medical research, advice and information and support in the community.
Different Strokes
Is a registered charity providing a free service to younger stroke survivors throughout the United Kingdom. They are run by stroke survivors for stroke survivors, for active self-help and mutual support.
Connect - The Communication and Disability Network 
Promotes effective services, new opportunities and a better quality of life for people living with aphasia (communication disability).
Headway - The UK Brain Injury Association 
Is a charity set up to give help and support to people affected by brain injury. A network of local Groups and Branches throughout the UK offers a wide range of services.
